The material of bellows is mainly divided into two categories: metal material and plastic material, as follows: ‌

1. Metal bellows

‌Stainless steel‌: such as 304 stainless steel and 316 stainless steel, of which 304 stainless steel has good corrosion resistance, heat resistance and processing performance, and is suitable for general environments; 316 stainless steel has stronger resistance to chloride ions and is often used in coastal areas and marine engineering.
‌Galvanized steel‌: has good corrosion resistance and strength.

2. Plastic bellows
Plastic bellows are light in weight, corrosion-resistant, have good insulation performance, are easy to install, and are widely used in construction, municipal administration, communications and other fields. Common plastic materials include:

‌Polyethylene (PE): such as PE corrugated pipe, which has the characteristics of corrosion resistance, wear resistance, green environmental protection, etc., and is often used for rainwater and sewage branch pipes and cable protection.
‌Polypropylene (PP): Excellent chemical corrosion resistance, suitable for chemical and other fields.
‌PVC: High strength, long service life, convenient construction, often used in underground drainage pipes and optical cable protection pipes.
3. Other materials
‌Rubber: Good flexibility, suitable for occasions requiring high elasticity.
‌Steel belt reinforced spiral corrugated pipe: With polyethylene as the matrix and steel belt as the reinforcement, it has high strength and is often used in municipal road seepage and drainage projects.
