Battery system
Cell insulation and fixing: used for the insulation of the cell pole ear to prevent short circuit.
Module and Pack protection: Covers the connections between battery modules to provide insulation and dust and water resistance (e.g. IP67 rating).
High voltage connection protection: Used for insulation protection of high voltage copper bars and joints in the battery box. It is usually flame retardant (such as UL VW-1 certification).
High voltage harness
Terminal insulation: Shrinkable covers wire harness terminals to prevent high voltage breakdown.
Identification and grouping: Wire harnesses of different voltage levels are distinguished by color heat shrink tubes (such as orange for high voltage).
Motor and electronic control
Sensor cable protection: Wrap the connection of the temperature and speed sensors to resist oil pollution and vibration.
Special type heat shrink tube
Double-wall heat shrink tube: The inner layer is adhesive, used for sealing occasions (such as battery box threading holes).
Medium wall heat shrinkable tube with glue: waterproof seal for high pressure joints.
Second, the application of bellows in new energy vehicles
Harness protection
High voltage wire harness outer sheath: corrugated pipe wrapped high voltage cable (such as more than 600V), to prevent mechanical wear, stone impact (commonly used PA nylon material).
Electromagnetic shielding: Some bellows integrate metal layers to reduce the interference of high-voltage wiring harnesses to low-voltage signals.
Battery system
Cooling line protection: Protect the hose (such as silicone tube) of the battery cooling system from scratching.
Chassis and body
Corrosion resistance and weather resistance: The chassis wire harness protects against salt spray, mud and other harsh environments (such as PP or PE material) through the corrugated pipe.
Motors and charging systems
Charging gun cable: Enhance the bending life and torsion resistance of the charging cable.
